Why did you choose this game? It’s an old game looking to print a new edition? Have you played it?

I’m picking games or projects that look interesting to me. Hopefully finding 1-2 a week at least that seem worth investigating further.
I read about Canterbury on boardgamegeek, and it passed my looks interesting test. I’ve not played it, nor most of the things I like the look of on Kickstarter.
As I’m in the UK I tend not to back projects, as even those with ‘free’ shipping tiers tend to be fairly expensive. I try and wait for local releases, as I’m always keen to support my local gaming shop.
Hope this helps

Any insight into why it looks interesting to you?

It’s mostly based on the Designer Diary from boardgamegeek. I like the ideas of area control, secondary scoring and building upgrade / replacement.
If I have concerns it’s around the number of tiles and cubes that appear to be used, I’d be worried about the game getting knocked about and scores lost forever.
