I’ve just started playing in a tabletop Game of Thrones game as an Ironborn raider. I find it easier to get by if I do some thinking and writing about the culture I’m playing in, and I thought it might be useful to other people interested in George R R Martin‘s work.
The game itself is set nine years before the first book, during Baron Greyjoy’s first rebellion, so some of the family details are not exactly up-to-date, although everything is as accurate as I could make it.
The Ironborn is the first extra roleplay resource I’ve created that’s not for DnD, and if it’s useful (or popular), I’ll probably do more.
